Our guiding principle is to offer the highest quality wines that would highlight the varietal characteristics of our grapes which result in wines that are pleasant to taste, drink and enjoy. All of our wines are produced exclusively from grapes that are harvested from our vineyards in order to care and ensure their unique qualities. Our vineyards contain both classic and commercial varieties of grapes that have found a perfect home in which to optimally develop their unique characteristics in Baja\u2019s Guadalupe Valley.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to these varieties, we have an experimental field in which we currently cultivate more than 70 different grape varieties from around the world, and produce wines from the Our origins date back to the early 1900\u2019s, almost 10,000 kilometers away, in the picturesque village of Morbegno, in northern Italy.<\/p>\n<p>The tradition of growing grapes, began in our family when Nonno Gabriele, the father of our Winemaker Camillo, inherited from his father, Pietro, a vineyard in his native Morbegno. As a result of this, our family was able to create a bond with the land we inherited and learned to produce wine in the traditional way, using the benefits of nature: the sun, the earth, wood, water and rich grape varieties, which predominantly included Nebbiolo, Barbera and Pignola varieties.<\/p>\n<p>The story of our winery, began in the heart of Baja\u2019s Guadalupe Valley over 15 years ago, when we first begun to produce wines that came from grapes harvested from our own vineyards, for our family and friends. These wines were given as gifts to our Italian family when we would visit them and were entered to compete on various occasions in the Feria del Nebbiolo in Italy.<\/p>\n<p>It was not until 2013, that our family finally made the decision to offer our wines to the public in response to the overwhelming support and enthusiasm that was received from all of those who had tasted our wines.
